Imagine Cup 2008
GOALS:
- Announce results of Imagine Cup 2008, delivering Unlimited Potential Microsoft program key messages
- Position Microsoft as a socially responsible business leader helping talented youth unlock their unlimited potential
- Raise public awareness of Imagine Cup as a prestigious competition, participation in which strengthens international image of Ukraine, promotes education and enhances national knowledge economy
- Attract attention of potential participants and raise competition’s popularity next year
REALIZATION:
- Sending Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Computer Review magazine on a press tour to Imagine Cup Finals to Paris
- Arranging two local press conferences on results of Imagine Cup Nationals (March) and Finals (July)
- Individual work with central social media and student press throughout the campaign
- Providing photographs and exclusive comments from participants to target mass media
- Pitching additional information on Microsoft Unlimited Potential program to target mass media
- 18 journalists from nationwide media including:
- 9 journalists from IT media
- 4 journalists from news agencies
- 2 journalists from general interest media
- Over 40 publications
- 4 reports in broadcast media (popular radio stations)
